ATTORNEY PROFILES

 

Robert T. Cannella (rcannella@fitzlaw.com) has been practicing law with the firm for 34 years and holds an undergraduate degree in management and a law degree cum laude from Creighton University. Bob works primarily in representing employers in all aspects of employment law, including employment discrimination law and labor-management relations. He also practices significantly in the area of higher education law and serves as legal counsel to Metropolitan Community College. Bob is a member of the Labor Relations and Employment Law, Workers' Compensation, and Government Practice Sections of the Nebraska State Bar Association. He has been a member of the House of Delegates – the governing body of the Association – since 2002.  He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the field of labor and employment law. Bob is a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Omaha-Millard. He and his wife Nancy have three grown children.
