ATTORNEY PROFILES

 

Susan J. Spahn (sspahn@fitzlaw.com) joined us in 1995 after practicing law in Omaha for several years. Susan received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska in 1984 and her law degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1987. Susan also attended the Graduate Tax Program at the University of Florida College of Law, where she obtained a Masters of Law in Taxation degree in 1989. Susan's practice focuses primarily in the estate administration, taxation and estate planning areas. Susan is recognized in the invitation-only American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, an international association of estate planning attorneys. Susan is also a member of the Omaha Estate Planning Council. Susan has served as the chair of the Real Estate, Probate and Trust Section of the Nebraska State Bar Association. Susan was the past chair of the education committee of the Professional Advisor Council to the Methodist Hospital Foundation.     She is a frequent lecturer of estate and taxation issues.
